This update contains a new payroll tax table and several defect fixes. This update is recommended for all users. If you are a payroll subscriber, after installation, choose Payroll Updates from the Setup menu to load the new payroll tax table.
End of June Payroll and Product Update
Payroll Tax Changes
For those customers enrolled in Payroll Tax Service, this update includes the following state(s) payroll changes.
- Ontario has rescinded the previously released payroll changes for July 1st. This update includes a new tax table dated July 2nd 2018 to reflect these changes.
Important Payroll Notes:
IMPORTANT: If you haven't yet loaded the July 1st Tax Table, you will need to first load this table and then load the July 2nd Tax Table by going to the Setup Menu and then choose Payroll Updates. If you have already loaded the July 1st table, you will need to load the July 2nd payroll table from Setup/Payroll Updates.
You can find which tables are loaded into your company file by using the Setup menu and choose Payroll Updates.
Product Fixes and Enhancements
- We fixed a problem for those who create items and variations of items within the Shopify website and sync those items down to AccountEdge which caused a sync error.
- Addressed an issue with the Jobs List Report where the status field would always say "Active".
- If using a 13th Period for your Fiscal Year, transactions in that period were not showing in certain date filters.
- Fixed a problem with recurring sales that include a Kit item where the price of the item was not correct.
- Various sorting issues were addressed in the Cards List.
- Addressed issues if you were using Items on Time Billing Sales and turned off the preference to include them on those sales.
